It is a program focused on postural muscles,

i.e. the muscles that help keep the body balanced and are essential to providing support to the spine. The method is also indicated in the postural rehabilitation. In particular, Pilates helps to develop an awareness of the breath and alignment of the spine by strengthening the deep muscles close to the spine, very important to alleviate and prevent back pain. With this method you also strengthens the deeper muscles near the spine and around the pelvis. The major point of this method is the toning and strengthening of the Power House, that is, all the muscles connected to the trunk: the abdomen, gluteus, adductors and lumbar area.
